Install a Level 2 (240-volt) EV charger and receive up to $450
Once you've registered your vehicle with CEC, tap into further incentives. By installing qualifying charging equipment, you can earn up to $450 in additional rebates.
- Must be an active CEC member.
- Purchase and install an eligible charger for a new/used EV registered at an address with active CEC electric service.

Incentive Information
To receive $200, the Level 2 (240-volt) chargers must:
● Comply with SAE J1772 standard or Tesla connector plug.
● New, unused, and certified by a nationally recognized testing laboratory (e.g., UL Listed)
To receive $450, the Level 2 (240-volt) chargers must:
● Comply with SAE J1772 standard or Tesla connector plug.
● New, unused, and certified by a nationally recognized testing laboratory (e.g., UL Listed).

Incentive Information
Eligibility & Requirements:● Rebate not to exceed the cost of the charger and/or installation.
● Chargers that are re-sold, re-built, received from warranty insurance claims, or won as a prize are not eligible.
● Installation must be permitted, inspected, and approved in compliance with National Electric Code, local, county, and state requirements. Members accept responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable codes. For safety, we recommend that a licensed electrician perform the installation.
● CEC disclaims any warranty, whether expressed or implied, for any materials or labor associated with installation, maintenance, or repair.
● All participating service locations are subject to inspection and usage data analysis.
How to Apply:
To receive your $200 or $450 charger rebate:
1. Review eligible charger models on BPA/CEC's charging equipment list. Chargers must be on the list to qualifying for the $450 rebate.
2. Submit the online interest form and work with a CEC engineer to perform an infrastructure and equipment review.
3. After the CEC review, we will contact you regarding requirements of installation.
4. Install your qualifying charger.
5. Complete the online rebate application.
6. Submit a copy of your proof of purchase and/or installation invoice and a photo of your installed charger.
7. After verification, we will send you a check for $200 or $450.
